Harvest Church of the Nazarene

LINKS stands for "Loving, Interested Nazarenes, Knowing and Sharing." The LINKS program of the Church of the Nazarene is a network of personal connections between missionaries and Nazarenes around the world. Missionaries are assigned to districts and, then on the district level, connected to local churches. This gives each church an opportunity to become personally acquainted with the missionary family and their field of service. Typically, churches send packages, cash gifts, cards, and other remembrances to their LINKS missionaries.

We have a LINKS relationship with a lovely, retired missionary named Dr. Eunice Bryant.  What an encouragement your card can be.  Dr. Bryant's address is 805 NE Pollard St, Lee's Summit, MO  64086.  In a recent NMI meeting many wrote personal notes.  Here is her response to those notes:  "Dear Fellow Nazarenes at Harvest,  Your friendship notes arrived at exactly the right time because they were full of love, prayers, and healthy encouragement.  I had just received word that my sister, Esther Leach, had gone home to heaven, and I was rushing around preparing to fly to eugene, Oregon for her funeral.  Thanks so much for that whole package of personal notes.  Thanks for your prayers right at the time when I was feeling grief.  Your notes are very special.  May the Lord pour out unusual blessings into your hearts.  Love in Christ, Eunice Bryant"

Randy and Mary Jane James are no longer our LINKS missionaries because their contract with the Department of World Missions ran out. They are back in the states.  Pray for them as they seek God's direction for the future.  Also pray for the students at Africa Nazarene University who bonded with them--especially the Shangilai Singers who came to the General NMI Convention.
